The Edina Hornets lacrosse team scored 10 points and limited the visiting Maple Grove Crimson to 8 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Red Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record.
The Crimson (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Eagles enter the Northwest Suburban game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Totino-Grace was nudged by Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 13-4, in a league game.
