The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) and the host Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), saw Myers Park's lacrosse team gain a win over Northwest Guilford by a margin of 10-8.
The Mustangs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Southwestern/So Meck challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Butler edged Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the Metro challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Guilford was nudged by Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 14-13, in a non-league challenge.
