Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 20-1 in a non-league battle.
The Cadets now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain State for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Linsly will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 14-12 league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 24. Preston will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Polar Bears come into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV).
