The Beech Buccaneers softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Allen County-Scottsville Patriots to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Saturday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Beech will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Allen County-Scottsville falls to 11-8 on the year. The Patriots travel to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 15 game on Tuesday, April 23. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 17-9. Warren East won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)
