In Saturday's non-league contest, the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), by a margin of 13-7.

With the triumph, Andrew moves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a SouthWest Suburban outing on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors enter the outing with a record of 9-5. Lincoln-Way West won 15-1 in their recent non-league outing against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL)

The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans enter the South Suburban outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Oak Lawn tipped Hancock (Chicago, IL), 11-2, in a non-league outing.
