In Saturday's non-league match, the host Philo Electrics softball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Athens Bulldogs.

The Electrics (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Maysville (Zanesville, OH). The Panthers go into the Muskingum Valley match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Maysville was routed by Coshocton (Coshocton, OH), 19-13, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio match, on Monday, April 22. Athens will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Raiders go into the match with a 4-4 record after their 13-0 league loss to Wellston (Wellston, OH).
