Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Wayne Wayne Generals (Fort Wayne, IN), 20-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eastbrook for a Central Indiana challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Blackford will face a Panthers squad coming off a 23-5 non-league win over Delta (Muncie, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Fort Wayne Wayne falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Generals host Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN) to face the Cadets in a Summit challenge on Monday, April 22. The Cadets enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Adams (Berne, IN)
