The Republic Tigers softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Bridgeport Mustangs to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilbur-Creston-Keller for a 1B Northeast battle on Tuesday, April 23. Republic will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 25-13 league win over Selkirk (Ione, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Bridgeport moves to 0-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Okanogan (Okanogan, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2B Central Washington battle on Thursday, April 25. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 9-0.
