In Saturday's non-league contest, the Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Wadsworth Grizzlies (Wadsworth, OH), by a margin of 14-6.
With the triumph, Chippewa moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Chipps travel to Barberton (Barberton, OH) to play the Magics in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 20. The Magics come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Barberton lost 14-1 in their recent league contest against Highland (Medina, OH)
In their next game, the Grizzlies play the Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH) in a Suburban - National contest, on Monday, April 22. Wadsworth will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH).
