Kansas High School Softball - Circle sneaks past Valley Center

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Circle Thunderbirds softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Valley Center Hornets.
The Thunderbirds (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Mulvane nipped Winfield (Winfield, KS), 17-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 23. Valley Center will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Railroaders come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to South (Salina, KS).
