East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. East Jessamine will face a Indians squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Indians record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Fern Creek falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atherton (Louisville, KY) to face the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. The Ravens enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Atherton won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against North Hardin (Radcliff, KY)
