The Westfield Shamrocks softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Franklin County Wildcats to 2 in the Shamrocks non-league win on Saturday.

The Shamrocks now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noblesville for a Hoosier Crossroads battle on Tuesday, April 23. Westfield will confront a Millers team coming off a 18-16 non-league loss to New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Millers record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Franklin County moves to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to confront the Spartans in a Eastern Indiana battle on Monday, April 22. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Connersville lost 8-3 in their recent non-league battle against Hauser (Hope, IN)
