In Saturday's non-league test, the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), by a count of 7-1.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 23. Riverside-Brookfield will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 6-8 record after their 12-2 league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL).

The Royals (8-8) will now prepare for their test against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, South Elgin was routed by Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 10-8, in a non-league test.
