In Saturday's non-league test, the Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), by a tally of 14-2.
The Tigers now possess a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey battle on Monday, April 22. Newton Falls will confront a Warriors team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Harding (Warren, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Lordstown moves to 0-6 on the season. The Red devils travel to Bristol (Bristolville, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Northeastern Athletic battle on Monday, April 22. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 2-6.
