The South Seneca Falcons softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lyons Lions to 11 in the Falcons non-league win on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Jacket for a Finger Lakes West battle on Wednesday, April 24. South Seneca will confront a Red Jacket team coming off a 21-10 non-league win over Red Creek (Red Creek, NY). The Red Jacket record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Lyons moves to 4-1 on the season. The Lions travel to East Rochester (East Rochester, NY) to confront the Bombers in a Wayne County battle on Monday, April 22. The Bombers come into the battle with a record of 5-4. East Rochester won 19-11 in their recent league battle against Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY)
