The Northmont Thunderbolts softball squad scored 19 runs and limited the host Valley View Spartans to 0 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Northmont upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH) to play the Vikings in a Greater Western Ohio game on Sunday, April 21. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 5-4. Miamisburg lost 1-0 in their recent league game against Fairmont (Kettering, OH)

The Spartans now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Troy Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, April 20.
