Northmor Golden Knights (Galion, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Knights now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fredericktown for a Knox Morrow Athletic challenge on Monday, April 22. Northmor will battle a Freddies squad coming off a 14-11 non-league win over Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH). The Freddies record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Ridgedale falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH) to battle the Fighting Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. The Fighting Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Cory-Rawson lost 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH)
