Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), 20-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Perry will battle a Leopards squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Alliance (Alliance, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Steele falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Marlington (Alliance, OH) to battle the Dukes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Dukes enter the challenge with a record of 11-1. Marlington won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ontario (Ontario, OH)
