Maryland High School Softball - Preston loses to Southern

The Southern Rams softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Preston Knights to 1 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Rams travel to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to clash with the Miners in a Western Maryland game on Monday, April 22. The Miners come into the game with a record of 0-2. Mountain Ridge lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Monday, April 22. Preston will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 12-3 league win over Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).
