The Tawas Area Braves softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Reese Rockets to 15 in the Braves non-league win on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeview for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Tawas Area will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 18-13 league win over Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Reese moves to 2-11 on the season. The Rockets travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to confront the Beavers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. The Beavers come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
