In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Richland Rams softball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Windber Ramblers.

The Rams (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions go into the Laurel Highlands 1 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Chestnut Ridge tipped Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 6-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Ramblers battle the Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 23. Windber will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The go into the match with a 6-3 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Hancock (Hancock, MD).
