Minnesota High School Softball - St. Anthony Village sneaks past Zumbrota-Mazeppa

In Saturday's non-league match, the host St. Anthony Village Huskies softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars.
The Huskies (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Kennedy (Bloomington, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Kennedy nipped Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 13-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 22. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Ramblers come into the match with a 6-1 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
