Rhode Island High School Baseball - Middletown prevails Central

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) and the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), saw Middletown's baseball team gain a win over Central by a tally of 10-1.

The Islanders (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers enter the Division 2 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Chariho prevailed over Johnston (Johnston, RI), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Wednesday, April 22. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mariners enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 6-4 league win over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
