In Monday's non-league game, the host Gladstone Braves baseball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the North Central Jets.
The Braves (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Eskymos go into the Great Northern U.P. game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Escanaba was overwhelmed by Bay Port (Green Bay, WI), 16-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Jets play the Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI) in a Freelance game, on Wednesday, April 22. North Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI).
