California High School Softball - Del Norte bounces Mt. Carmel

April 21, 2021: San Diego, CA 92129

Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Pasqual for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 22. Del Norte will battle a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Mt. Carmel falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Helix (La Mesa, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 23. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Helix won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
