Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Riverton (Riverton, UT) to battle the Silverwolves in a 6A Region 3 test on Tuesday, April 26. The Silverwolves come into the test with a record of 12-3. Riverton won 10-3 in their recent league test against Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT)

With the defeat, Archbishop Alter falls to 1-9 on the season. The Knights host Carroll (Dayton, OH) to battle the Patriots in a Greater Catholic - Coed South test on Tuesday, April 26. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-3. Carroll lost 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Valley View (Germantown, OH)
