The Longmeadow Lancers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Chicopee Pacers to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lancers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons go into the Valley match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Minnechaug Regional gained a win over Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA), 9-7, in a non-league match.
The Pacers (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Purple Knights go into the Valley Wheel match with a 1-3 record.
