North Carolina High School Baseball - Langtree Charter prevails Statesville

The Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC) baseball trounced the host Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC), 10-1 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 25. Langtree Charter will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 7-2 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).

The Greyhounds now sport a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to North Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A contest on Friday, April 22. Statesville will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 11-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-10.
