Wauwatosa West/Wauwatosa East Blazers (Wauwatosa, WI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), 8-5 in a league test.

The Blazers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Whitefish/Nicolet/Shorewood for a test on Thursday, April 28. Wauwatosa West/Wauwatosa East will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Oak Creek Knights (Oak Creek, WI) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 25. Homestead will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
