The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the visiting Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), saw Conant's lacrosse team nudge Palatine by a margin of 12-11.

The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton-Warrenville South/Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton-Warrenville South/Wheaton North was tipped by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 19-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the Mid Suburban challenge with a 5-1 record.
