The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC), saw Cape Fear Academy's lacrosse team achieve victory over Ravenscroft by a margin of 8-4.

The Hurricanes (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Topsail edged Laney (Wilmington, NC), 12-9, in a league challenge.

The Ravens (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Durham Academy (Durham, NC). The Cavaliers enter the NCISAA - Division I challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Durham Academy was overwhelmed by Providence Day (Charlotte, NC), 10-5, in a league challenge.
