In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Vance Charter Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Cary Christian Knights.

The Knights now have a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Voyager for a Triangle North/Northern Lakes Athletic test on Friday, April 22. Vance Charter will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.

In their next game, the Knights face the St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA - Division II test, on Tuesday, April 26. Cary Christian will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 17-3 league loss to Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC).
