Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA), 11-7 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Shorewood for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 25. Cascade will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Cedarcrest falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Red wolves travel to Arlington (Arlington, WA) to battle the Eagles in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Arlington lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA)
