The Genoa Area Comets softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Elmwood Royals to 1 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Genoa Area moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Comets host Otsego (Tontogany, OH) to clash with the Knights in a Northern Buckeye game on Friday, April 22. The Knights come into the game with a record of 2-0.
