The South Fremont Cougars softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Firth Cougars to 10 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, South Fremont moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Cougars host American Falls (American Falls, ID) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 23. The Beavers come into the game with a record of 3-9. American Falls lost 16-1 in their recent league game against Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) in a 2A Nuclear game, on Friday, April 22. Firth will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Savages come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 22-0 league loss to North Fremont (Ashton, ID).
