The Huntington North Vikings softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Northridge Raiders to 2 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Huntington North moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN) to clash with the Wildkats in a non-league game on Saturday, April 23. The Wildkats come into the game with a record of 3-7. Kokomo lost 9-7 in their recent league game against McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern Lakes game, on Friday, April 22. Northridge will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Minutemen come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 13-4 non-league win over South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN).
