The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) and the host MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), saw LeRoy's softball squad nip MacArthur by a count of 13-6.

The Panthers now sport a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a Heart of Illinois match on Friday, April 22. LeRoy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 17-3 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, MacArthur falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, April 23. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 9-6. Warrensburg-Latham won 5-0 in their recent league match against Sullivan (Sullivan, IL)
