Indiana High School Softball - Southwood holds off Manchester

April 21, 2022: North Manchester, IN 46962

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) and the host Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), witnessed Southwood's softball squad tip Manchester by a count of 3-1.

The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league match on Friday, April 22. Southwood will face a Comets squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN). The Comets record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Manchester moves to 1-5 on the season. The Squires travel to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, April 23. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 5-0. Columbia City won 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN)
