The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) and the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), saw Montgomery's softball squad achieve victory over Sullivan County by a count of 13-2.

The Red Raiders now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millville for a Mid-Penn D4 match on Tuesday, April 26. Montgomery will face a Quakers squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Sullivan County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Bucktail (Farwell, PA) to face the Bucks in a Mid-Penn D4 match on Friday, April 22. The Bucks enter the match with a record of 5-0. Bucktail won 10-7 in their recent non-league match against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA)
