The Reed-Custer Comets softball team (Braidwood, IL), was routed 12-8 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL)

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) in a Interstate Eight test, on Tuesday, April 26. Sandwich will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Pirates enter the test with a 10-4 record after their 14-0 league win over Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).

The Comets (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Joliet Catholic tipped Coal City (Coal City, IL), 12-2, in a non-league test.
