In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Republic County Buffaloes softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes encounter the Beloit Trojans (Beloit, KS) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 6. Republic County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.

The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 1-7 record.
