Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ludlowe for a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, April 25. Trumbull will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Ridgefield falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to battle the Rams in a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, April 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. New Canaan lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT)
