The Sumrall Bobcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting West Jones Mustangs to 4 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Sumrall improves its record to 21-6 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Greene County (Leakesville, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, April 29. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 11-11. Greene County won 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Raymond (Raymond, MS)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 29. West Jones will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 17-8 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS).
