Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) and the host Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX), saw Anson's baseball squad knock off Cisco by a count of 5-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 battle, on Tuesday, April 25. Anson will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 6-1 league win over Haskell (Haskell, TX).

The Loboes now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a 2A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, April 25.
