The Canajoharie Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Schoharie Indians to 2 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 2 Western - Southern match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Mayfield was overwhelmed by Galway (Galway, NY), 12-2, in a league match.
The Indians (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Oppenheim-Ephratah (St. Johnsville, NY). The Hawks go into the Section 2 Western - Southern match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Oppenheim-Ephratah was overwhelmed by Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY), 16-3, in a league match.
