In Friday's non-league game, the host Granada Matadors baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Deer Valley Wolverines.
The Matadors (15-4) will now prepare for their game against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, College Park tipped Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 4-0, in a league game.
The Wolverines (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Lions go into the Bay Valley game with a 11-6 record. In their last game, Liberty was overwhelmed by Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
