The Mt. Baker Mountaineers baseball team (Deming, WA), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA)
The Golden Eagles now hold a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Tuesday, April 25. Ferndale will confront a Trojans team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-5.
Next, the Mountaineers confront the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Mt. Baker will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Mariners go into the outing with a 2-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA).
