The Larned Indians crushed the host Halstead Dragons baseball team by a tally of 11-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Indians now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Smoky Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, April 28. Larned will face a Vikings team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Pratt (Pratt, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.
Next, the Dragons face the Hoisington Cardinals (Hoisington, KS) in a Central Kansas bout, on Friday, April 28. Halstead will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 8-6 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS).
