Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) and the host Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD), saw St. John's's baseball squad knock off Landon by a count of 8-3.
Coming up next, the Cadets play the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 22. St. John's will attempt to move on its 21-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 14-5 record after their 7-0 league win over John Carroll (Bel Air, MD).
The Bears now possess a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Albans for a Interstate Athletic battle on Tuesday, April 25. Landon will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-5.
