In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Nashville Hornets baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes.
The Hornets (16-2) will now prepare for their game against DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Indians go into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi game with a 13-9 record. In their last game, DuQuoin tipped Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL), 5-1, in a league game.
The Wooden Shoes (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Farina South Central (Farina, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Farina South Central was overwhelmed by North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL), 6-5, in a non-league game.
